Dublin with extensive experience in all aspects of the building trade.  Throughout the past years, not withstanding the recent changes to the Construction Industry, D & T Forkan Construction Ltd has developed into a Company renowned for quality, reliability and professionalism. We have carried out a range of projects from Residential Housing Developments, Civil & Structural Works to Industrial & Commercial Projects along with House Renovations and Extensions.

Our Team

Dermot Forkan – Director

Dermot has accumulated  over 30 years’ experience in the Construction Industry. A graduate of Trinity College, he  has been involved in  vast  range of construction projects in both Ireland & the U.K.   Dermot is renowned in the Industry for his ability to bring a project  to completion on time and on budget, and all in a very professional manner.

Thomas Forkan – Director

Thomas studied at DIT and he too has spent many years and has a wealth of experience in the Construction Industry. During this time, he has overseen developments in excess of 50m Euro. Thomas’ years in the Construction industry have gained him a foresight which gives him the advantage of identifying potential issues that may develop down the line and implementing measures to avoid these situations. Thomas’ role includes the day to day management of the business along with project management of ongoing projects and allocation of resources to the projects at hand.

Alan McEntee – Contracts Manager & Surveyor

Alan plays a key role in the day to day management of the business. Alan holds a degree in Construction Technology (BTech) and an honors degree in Construction Economics(BSc) from DIT along with a number of CPD awards. Alan’s responsibilities include cost control & project management of on-going projects, tendering for new projects, liaising with Clients and other project parties. Alan’s extensive knowledge and experience of construction gives him the ability to advise Clients & Designers on economical methods of construction and design alterations to suit the Client’s budget.

Miriam McEntee – Accountant

Miriam has over 30 years experience in financial management and has been responsible for the financial management of a number of successful Irish companies. Miriam’s roles include financial management of the business, payroll responsibilities and general administration.
